Directors Meeting February 5, 2009

The meeting opened with discussion and ideas of methods to rid the lakes of a growing population of commorants which are fish eating birds often seen at this time of the year. Next the board approved a request by Southern Natural Gas to access a portion of our common property for the purpose of testing on their gas lines. Mike dickson was approved to replace Richard Swift as chair for the ACC committee. Lacy Sword suggested the following community events for this year; April 18th, Spring fling-daylight till 2:00 fishing and 5:00 cookout at the Nichols home, Oct.25th-Halloween trunk-a-treat and social gathering afterwards in the Grey Rock Dr. culdesac,and on Dec. 6th-4:00-6:00 donation for toys for tots at the Swifts home wih refreshments and drinks Finally the board talked briefly about long term goals such as building a picnic area ,boat ramp and other improvements. The meeting was then adjourned.
